Trees
A procedurally generated caving game. May take a few extra seconds to generate the world after Godot starts up. Please read below for controls and important info.
Controls:
| Left Click | capture mouse / shoot |
| Escape | release mouse |
| Mouse | control camera |
| WASD / Arrow Keys | move |
| Space | jump |
| T | toggle stopwatch |
| C | toggle kill counter |
| K | toggle music |
| X | toggle sound effects |
| M | toggle minimap |
| R | restart game |
| P | perish |
Important info:
- The goal of the game is to descend through 8 levels. The first floor entrance is somewhere near the oak tree. When you are on the final level, touch the white tree to win.
- Aim your crosshair and click on entities (the floating yellow things) to shoot them. If an entity touches you while still alive, it will die, but you will lose a hitpoint. They have a tendency to ambush from behind and out of corners, so caution is advised.
Initially created within 20ish hours for Campfire NYC, with some more development afterwards. All assets (music, sounds, models, textures, etc.) were made by me. (Noise textures were generated using a script.)
